Suzanne, did you know that a soccer ball is made up of 32 panels of leather? That humans have a full set of 32 teeth (including wisdom teeth)? That there are 32 teams in the National Football League? That Beethoven completed 32 piano sonatas?
But today these are but trivia when compared with the number of years we have been together. For our 32nd anniversary we escaped to the North Conway Grand Hotel for two nights. We waded in the Ellis River (well, you did. I almost lost the keys to the car), we wandered through the shops at Settlers' Green and dined at Horsefeathers (wow, what a club sandwich), the Muddy Moose and Brandlis. And, of course, there was Starbucks. We smiled at the curly-haired girls and boisterous boys running the hallways of the hotel and pushing elevator buttons - because we remember...
Now, finally, it is our time. We have laid a foundation for our little girl and boy and watched them grow into amazing adults. Now, what adventures lie ahead for you and me?
